Saturday January 19th there is a big party for nature photographers of the Rocky Mountain Region that I will be attending. I still haven't been able to get out to get more photos so I will at least have some fun attending this party. This is the first large party with professional photographers that I have been to, so it'll be quite the experience for me. Maybe I will learn a thing or two while I am there.
I am still having plans of traveling this month. My plans is to Westcliffe in Southern Colorado. The above photo is of the wet mountain Valley, where Westcliffe is located, looking at the Sangre De Cristo mountains. This area is very dramatic, for the mountains rise up nearly 7000 feet above the valley. It reminds me of Rojan in the Lord of the Rings movies. So hopefully before the end of the month I will spend a night or two down there.
